POGGIO ALLE VIGNE<\/span><\/h3>\n

A large garden, with large maritime pines, maples, olive trees and oleanders surrounds the 17th century farmhouse, within which there are apartments that can accommodate from 2 to 7 people (they are not all the same). Guests at the Poggio can enjoy a swimming pool surrounded by vineyards, a barbecue, spaces for children, as well as the large natural park in which the farmhouse is immersed.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, Gabriella welcomes guests in the small building covered with roses, in the shade of the vine “pergola” and in the morning she organizes the buffet breakfast in what was once the house’s warehouse, which in summer is served in the shade of the pergola, on the terrace overlooking the Tiber Valley with Perugia on the horizon. Many of the apartments have a fireplace.<\/p>\n

THE APARTMENTS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ten apartments take their names from the fruits and flowers of the surrounding countryside, eight in the central body (Ginestra, Corbezzolo, Fico, More, Rosmarino, Ginepro, Olivo e Uva Spina) and two in the old barn (Malva and Rosa di Macchia), all equipped with air conditioning. They are made unique by the tranquility of this corner of the Umbrian countryside in which they are immersed, by the refinement of the furnishings and the quality of the welcome: serene, discreet, essential, never intrusive.<\/p>\n

An external porch invites you to enter this apartment where the attention to detail can be seen right from the tone of the wrought iron chosen for the furnishings, from the living room to the kitchen table, from the bedroom to the study, to the bathroom. The apartment is welcoming in shades of blue, with fun trompe l’oeil on the walls. Comfortable, well-divided spaces, characterized by a traditional ceiling in the master bedroom and in the study, where exposed arches wrap around the desk.<\/p>\n

The large arched window at the entrance illuminates the living room. A brick arch frames the graceful Umbrian chest of drawers, decorated with ceramics. Functional kitchen corner. The beautiful countryside that colors the valley is at the center of the view that can be admired from the bedroom. Due to its size and the architectural solutions adopted in the bathroom, Le More can also comfortably accommodate disabled guests.<\/p>\n

The external staircase is a traditional element of the local old farmhouses. Now it is covered with climbing plants and as in the past, it leads to the welcoming apartment with ample living room.
\nThe silhouette of Torgiano and its tower can be admired from the living room; the warm tones of the fabrics and furnishings alternate with the light colours of the furniture and walls. The living room revolves around the fireplace and a loft expands the possibilities of use.<\/p>\n

The living room with its beamed ceiling is large and welcoming. Wide arches divide the space: on one side are the fireplace and living room, on the other is the dining room. The fabrics, draperies and furnishings in a red-based colour scheme warm up the bedroom.
\nFrom a small window in the kitchen the eye sweeps over a lovely and evocative stretch of vineyards in the Torgiano countryside.<\/p>\n

The traditional external staircase typical of old Umbrian farmhouses leads to this apartment. Ceilings with white beams, a shelf-partition between living room and kitchen. The view is enchanting, running from the silhouette of Torgiano to the bell-tower of the Benedectine Abbey of San Pietro in Perugia. In the living room is a lovely trompe l\u2019oeil depicting a fig-tree.
\nBlue and white is the colour scheme of the two bedrooms; in the master bedroom a simple fresco recalls the legend of Saint Francis and the wolf of Gubbio.<\/p>\n

The fireplace is the heart of this apartment on two levels dedicated to the olive tree. Great care is given to the furnishings: from the blue tones of the sofa to the clean lines of the large antique chest of drawers, a central element of country houses in Umbria.
\nUnder the splendid beamed ceiling is the large living room with a functional kitchenette, while on the upper floor are two bedrooms with wrought-iron beds.<\/p>\n

\nInside, the living room revolves around the fireplace featuring a pensive Satyr. The blue and white colour scheme unites the living room and kitchen d\u00e9cor, creating a serene ambiance, perfect for complete relaxation.<\/p>\n

\nThe spiral staircase leads to the sleeping area where the bedrooms open out onto a wide balcony: in the summer one can look out over the valley protected by the welcoming shade of the pergola.<\/p>\n
